Presentation: In spite of our best attempts to effectively manage project information, we seem to fall short. Why are current tools ineffective? Are we reaping the benefits from sophisticated systems that are in place? How can we increase project productivity with these tools?

After this presentation, you will be able to describe the benefits of utilizing a Project Management Information System (PMIS).  In addition, you will be able to understand the requirements for:

-Creating a Project Management Information System (PMIS)
-Selecting various tools available that can be used as a PMIS
-Customizing stakeholder access
-Enabling effective project document management
-Facilitating team collaboration
-Implementing a change control system
-Integrating existing project management tools
