We are making headways to educate the community about PMI Education Foundation. Vahni Mitra hosted a meeting on 09/22. The turn out was great as over 20 members attended the session to learn how the PMIEF available funds can be put to good use to advance the project management profession in the community.
Congratulations to two outstanding North Carolina students who will receive the 2017-18 PMI Educational Foundation academic scholarships:
Gokul Dass (Parent is a North Carolina Chapter Member)

North Carolina State University
Bachelor's: Mechanical Engineering, Minor in Leadership
PMIEF not only helps to advance the project management profession, it also helps the students achieve his/her dreams through education and build a better prepared workforce of the future.
This month some board members will travel to Chicago for the 2017 North American Leadership Institute Meeting. This is an unique opportunity for chapter leaders from across the globe to engage in a collaborative, inspiring event as successes are shared, leadership skills are developed to operate and sustain the values and vision of your chapter.
After over six months of review, updates, discussions, Board and PMI approval, the new revised NCPMI Bylaws will be posted on NCPMI website for thirty days for your review. Please, provide your feedback and send me your comments before the final membership voting to approve the bylaws.
I invite you to browse the NCPMI website to be informed about more events, activities, meetings, and workshops. I hope to see you at any NCPMI event before the end of the year.
