Letter from our NCPMI President regarding COVID-19

Dear NCPMI Member,

Your well-being as members, volunteers, and partners of NCPMI is important to us. In response to Gov. Roy Cooper’s state of emergency and the guidance of NCDHHS Secretary Mandy Cohen, we are taking precautionary action to increase social distancing in the effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Through April 30, 2020, we are modifying our events using digital technology, postponing some programs, or canceling a few meetings in accordance with public health guidance. This includes cancellation of all the “in person” meetings for March and April 2020, including Chapter Meetings, CoP sessions and any other meetings previously scheduled. Our Board of Officers will continue to monitor the situation and make any required changes in course after the month of April. We request your patience as we update the NCPMI calendar and share information individually with those who have registered.

Please watch your email for details about any registrations you have. We are working rapidly to update our website and keep you informed, and up to date.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we engage with you in new ways. We have an incredibly strong and collaborative project management community, and we will continue to grow as citizens during this challenging time.

Kind regards,

Yogi Muthuswamy

President,

North Carolina Project Management Institute
