Patty J. Dennis - VP Membership

Multidisciplinary professional working in the biotechnology field for more than a decade after pursuing a postgraduate degree in the sciences. Specializes in providing software solutions related to scientific endeavors and building teams to create science-related software products. Focused on team and process development to enhance the development process and deliver products efficiently and elegantly, while also aligning to business strategy and goals.

 

Holds a doctoral degree in Analytical Chemistry with a focus in microfluidics and detection methods and undertook a post-doctoral tenure building a portable enzyme-assay based microfluidic device for detection of pulmonary diseases. Also holds a Project Management Professional certification.

 

When not working or volunteering for NCPMI, is actively involved in mountain biking, the Triangle Bonsai Society, and volunteering with the NC Audubon Society during Climate Watch.
