Rashmi Chandra, PhD, has been an active member of PMI since 2020. Her journey with the NCPMI began in 2021 as the Monthly Newsletter Editor and has culminated in her current role as VP of Marketing.

Professionally, Rashmi has managed program portfolio exceeding $100 million, demonstrating her ability to lead complex initiatives and align execution with strategic goals. Her leadership style emphasizes collaboration, clear communication, and accountability. As VP of Marketing, Rashmi plans to actively collaborate with fellow board members and volunteers to engage and serve our members and sponsors, while promoting the NCPMI brand —core to the mission of NCPMI.

Beyond her professional and chapter contributions, Rashmi is a lifelong volunteer committed to community service. She has volunteered with Duke Hospice, continues to support a children’s grief camp, and has held leadership roles in non-profit boards including  Treasurer of Durham Summer Swim League, and President of the North Carolina Regulatory Affairs Forum (NCRAF). In her spare time, Rashmi loves to spend time with family friends, and travel to experience diverse cultures and geographies.
