Simone Hamlett, VP Programs

Simone is a projects & program leader with 15+ years overseeing and executing HR and IT initiatives within the technical sector.  She excels at leading direct and dynamic teams to drive organizational transformations such as acquisition integrations and large-scale software deployments while keeping the pulse on the customer and end user experience.   

Simone is passionate about giving back to her community.  She has been an active NCPMI volunteer for 10 years taking on various positions; elections chair and advisor, annual conference, director of community of practice relationships, project management coach and mentor. Simone is a breast cancer survivor and volunteers her time and talents supporting a breast cancer support group.  She also takes on volunteer activities sponsored by her company. 

Health and wellness is a priority for Simone and on any given weekend you will find her enjoying the outdoors biking or hiking. Simone is a certified League of American Bicyclists instructor and enjoys leading female group rides along the beautiful trails and roads in our area and in other cities. 

Simone lives in Durham with her husband and frequently checks in on her young adult children and her parents.
