Re:         NCPMI Price Increase for Chapter Meeting Registration

Dear NCPMI Members,

Thanks for providing feedback through our annual Chapter Member Survey!  We are listening and taking steps to address your needs.  Based upon your recommendations, the Board of Directors (BOD) strives to provide you with, but not limited to, the following services:

  • Provide higher caliber and/or top quality speakers/instructors
  • Provide additional professional development workshops
  • Provide better networking opportunities
  • Increase the quality and variety of dietary needs for meals served at our monthly Chapter meetings
  • Increase the number of NCPMI academic scholarships annually awarded to students attending postsecondary educational institutions in the field of project management
  • Improve the governance of the BOD by seeking out and encouraging NCPMI members to become NCPMI volunteers

In order to meet your desired needs, the BOD has voted to increase the price for Chapter meetings by $5.00 for member online registration, effective January 1, 2017. The following chapter meeting registration costs reflect the new price increase for Chapter meetings:

Member Online Registration Ten Dollars ($10.00)
Member Onsite Registration          Twenty Five Dollars  ($25.00)
Non-Member Online Registration Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00)
Non-Member Onsite Registration Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00)

Please note that any member registrations online after 4 PM two days prior to the Chapter Meeting date will incur the full cost of $25.00

The cost structure above only pertains to our monthly Chapter meetings typically held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in RTP.  We will continue not to charge our members to attend Career Workshops and Community of Practice (CoP) meetings. We only charge non-members $5 to attend CoP meetings.

Please continue to provide the NCPMI Board of Directors with recommendations that will add value to our Chapter and the Project Management Profession.  Also, please feel free to contact me or any of the elected Board of Directors regarding any concerns or problems that you may have concerning our Chapter.

Sincerely yours,

Myriam Augustin
