The rapid changes in technology are driving organizations to become agile to remain competitive in the marketplace. The expectation on project managers is extremely high to deliver business outcomes faster and cheaper.This presentation focuses on the skills needed to manage Information Technology projects successfully.
The speaker will highlight the importance of Business, Strategy, and Technical needs of projects and its relevance to Information Technology projects.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Kaali Dass is a Technology and Project Consultant at Cisco Systems, Inc. with over 25 years of information technology experience spanning multiple industries. He has extensive experience in managing domestic and international projects. Dr. Dass serves as VP of Technology and Communications for the North Carolina Chapter of PMI.
Dr. Dass has Ph.D. in IT Management, MBA in Finance, and has many professional certifications including PMP, CSQE, ITIL, and CSM. His focus areas are Program Management, Project Management, IT Strategy and Planning, Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, and Data Analytics.
