Title:  “Analyzing and Managing Key Stakeholders in Large, Complex Projects”

This presentation assumes that participants know how to identify key stakeholders and instead focuses on tools and practical information to aid analysis and management. Different tools are used to provide deep insights and provocative views. Traditional tools are used in new ways. The goal is clever analysis and management of key stakeholders through techniques that provide meaningful and practical results. Often, the tools are visual and affective to add to customary quantitative approaches. A hypothetical case study is challenging, vivid, and realistic.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will be more effective when working with sponsors and other key senior manager stakeholders on large, complex projects.
  • Participants will be able to provide reports and informal updates to senior managers in a clear, jargon-free, and concise manner.
  • Participants will focus on most important issues to senior managers, not unnecessary details.
  • Participants will provide solutions to senior managers, not problems.
  • Participants will be perceived as trustworthy and transparent by senior managers. • Participants will provide information to senior managers in a timely manner to enable fast decision making.
