 During the course of a work day\
 , leaders are constantly called on to LEAD: Listen\, Evaluate And Decide. 
 This capability is an essential component of&nbsp\; activities such as neg
 otiation\, problem solving and conflict resolution.
 Speech evaluation is
  a proven method for developing our ability to LEAD. This presentation wil
 l focus on speech contest techniques as a vehicle for honing our evaluatin
 g\, listening and decision-making skills.
