Social Good & Networking Event - Triangle Land Conservancy
NCPMI is lending a helping hand at the Triangle Land Conservancy's (TLC) beautiful Williamson Nature Preserve in Raleigh. During our volunteer experience, we will be assisting members of TLC's staff with invasive plant removal and/or trail maintenance. All tools and work gloves will be provided by TLC. Please remember to bring a full water bottle, and wear comfortable closed toed shoes and long pants.
The TLC's mission:
TLC strives to create a healthier and more vibrant Triangle region by safeguarding clean water, protecting natural habitats, supporting local farms and food, and connecting people with nature through land protection and stewardship, catalyzing community action and collaboration.
Participants must create an account on Volunteer Hub in order to register. Registration through this link is important for Triangle Land Conservancy to gauge participation counts before the workday, as well as to administer their safety waiver.
Please note that TLC has a minimum of 7 participants in order to host a volunteer day confirmed via their Volunteer Hub website, so if registration is below that number, they will have to cancel or postpone, meaning it is crucial that volunteers complete their Triangle Land Conservancy registration at the same time as they sign up with NCPMI.
