Abstract:

NCPMI in partnership with Project Motivator (ALLE LLC), Ruth Pearce, is offering FREE group coaching for our members. These sessions will be hosted online via ZOOM by Ruth Pearce and some of her co-coaches. 

Topics include:

  • Leading in Times of Uncertainty
  • Choosing a role model to lead by
  • From Me to We - Fostering Team support and more!

The SATURDAY SERIES of 5 sessions will be held for one hour 10 am – 11 am on the following dates:

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is free to our chapter members. These coaching sessions will be led by Ruth Pearce, one of our NCPMI Chapter members as a give back during this uncertain time.  You will need to self-report for PDUs.  Two days prior to the event, you will be emailed the URL to join the session.

About the Speaker:  Ruth Pearce, Project Motivator/Coach/Author

SpeakerRuthRuth holds the position of Product & Practice Development Consultant at the VIA Institute CharacterRuth brings over 25 years of experience in the field of project management in the domains of financial services, state government, education, and non-profits. She is also an experienced group coach, author, speaker, and trainer.

Her core competencies are in bringing the research and practices of positive psychology - in particular, character strengths - to the workplace through training and coaching. She loves to share the best evidence-based tools and methods with her followers. Ruth has spoken to more than 20,000 people in more than 45 countries about the topic of Social Intelligence for Project Leaders and loves to study character strengths use among project managers to better understand how they can grow in influence and success. Over the last few years, mindfulness has become an integral part of her speaking and writing as she advocates increasingly for mental health. She has attended the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Relief) program at Duke Integrative Medicine and the (MBSP) Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice program at VIA, which she will start teaching later this year.

Her book Be a Project Motivator: Unlock the Secrets of Strengths-Based Project Management was published in 2018.
