Leadership CoP: Servant Leadership in Disciplined Agile Delivery!

About the Speakers:

Derek PictureDerek Ketterer has been practicing Agile for 14 years and loves Agile’s flexibility and methods.  He is part of teams as Scrummaster role and helps coordinate delivery as a Release Manager.  Last year he became a SAFe Certified Practioner and helped roll out two Agile Release Trains.  He is currently the Release Train Engineer and SAFe Coach.  Derek has been the chairperson of the NC PMI Agile CoP since 2015 and has a steady attendance level of 40 people.  He is very much into “showing the data” through metrics/charts so people have the information to make decisions and prioritize.  He enjoys woodworking and projects around the house and just recently designed and built a custom bench for the front porch.  He helped organize his son’s Robotic team. He teaches software programming and mechanical design/fabrication.  He loves playing frisbee disc golf, mountain biking, and ultimate frisbee.
