 Abstract

No one will argue all projects have challenges\,
but did you know that most challenges are caused by people? In fact\, thro
ughout my 18-yr career\, one of the most common complaints among project m
anagers is having to babysit others to complete tasks. In other cases\, pr
oject managers are the ones tagged as babysitters\, also known as microman
agers. Placing this label on ourselves or others\, is one of the root caus
 es for disaster projects.
Please join tonight’s conversation as we rev
isit the project manager’s role\, the challenges we face\, and how we ca
n embrace our role to prevent and prepare for those challenges. At the end
of our chat\, you will discover (or rediscover) the leader in you. You wi
ll also take home a strategy on how to increase the success of your projec
 ts.
