Professional Development Workshop: Succeeding with Scrum and Jira Software

ezTagile

This workshot is presented by ezTagile, Sponsor of the 2019 NCPMI Annual Conference

In today's fast moving and ever changing agile job market, it's imperative to learn how to apply industry leading agile tools and frameworks. Two of the most popular pairings for agile teams are Scrum and Jira Software. They are connected by the way teams use Jira Software to apply the Scrum framework.

In this session, you will learn the basics of Scrum and Jira and how to apply it to your projects.  You will also gain hands-on experience in a lab environment to test out how Jira works and what reports are relevant for Scrum teams and project managers.

Pre-registration is required.

Please bring a laptop for this hands-on experience.

Mission:

  • Provide Technology Tools and Training to Bridge the Digital Divide
  • Collect, refurbish and award computers to students and families without a computer in their home.
  • Inspire students to succeed by teaching them critical computer, software and Internet skills.
  • Recycle and reuse donated computers and parts; extending their lives and reducing e-waste.
