Abstract

Whether you are in IT, R&D, Sales, Marketing or Operations your project will likely have Audit, Risk and Compliance requirements. The professionals in AR&C have a responsibility to  protect your project teams and ensure stakeholder value. When should you have a conversation? Who are the key players and what language should you avoid?

This session will uncover the reasons why it’s important to enage Audit, Risk and Compliance and how to build a stakeholder relationship that is mutually beneficial.

Speaker: Naomi Irvin, Manager, Sales, Marketing & Communications Compliance, Blue Cross NC

Naomi Irvin is a California native who relocated to North Carolina in 2006. She earned her undergraduate degree and MBA with a Marketing Certificate from East Carolina University (ECU). With over a decade of health insurance experience, Naomi currently leads a team of Compliance Consultants within the Sales, Marketing and Communications division of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.  Her focus is balancing business objectives with compliance requirements.
