Abstract:

Whether we are working in the office or from home (or both), many of us are thirsty for a different kind of workplace community, one that nourishes professionally and personally. Many of us are hungry for opportunities to connect (or reconnect) with colleagues and to develop our skills. What is it you crave? Join us to learn strategies you can use, wherever you sit in your organization, to create the kind of workplace community you (and they) crave. In this interactive, dynamic session, organizational consultant and belonging researcher, Wendy Gates Corbett, CPTD shares insights from her research and practical strategies that we can use to build a culture that feeds their needs and cultivates loyalty.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify strategies for creating opportunities to connect with colleagues and leaders.
  • Examine research-based ideas for fostering work communities that build and sustain loyalty
