Approximately one team meeting per month, 2-3 hours.

Once strategy is set, time will depend on role.  Expecting 4 hours a month.

Team Overview:

The next generation panel is being developed to address the needs of our upcoming project manager members.  This team also seeks to advise the chapter on how to recruit the next generation of project leaders. We are seeking candidates that are new to project management, new college graduates, or at the beginning of their careers.  We believe we need folks that are in this part of their career to tell us how to reach others at the same point.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy for reaching next generation of project leaders.
  • Recommend tactics for engaging, supporting, and developing next generation of project leaders.
  • Initially, we need help brainstorming and coming up with ideas of how to support this population.
  • Once strategy is set, we will define roles more definitively.

Requirements:

  • No experience necessary.
  • We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers that want to help us reach our next project managers.

Deliverables:

  • Brainstorming sessions for NextGen strategy.
