President's Message - September 2018

Message from Kaali Dass, VP Technology, and Communications

Dear Members and volunteers,

On behalf of my team, I would like to thank you all for the opportunity to serve you as VP of Technology and Communications.

Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and implement technology and communications for the NCPMI Members, volunteers, and the administrative processes of the organization. We also provide access to the web and other technology resources and supports various technology needs of the organization and membership community.

Our team focuses on four different areas.

Technology: This team focuses on identifying and evaluating new technologies and supporting existing technologies to run the operations of NCPMI.  We also maintain and support mobile check-in, badge printing, and other technologies to run the various NCPMI events.

Communications: The primary focus is communications to our members via e-mail. This includes sending Monthly and CoP Newsletters, and special requests from Annual Conference team and the NCPMI board.

Support: This team make sure our website is up and running 24x7 and supports all requests from the board, volunteers, members, and other guests. Some of the requests are posting new events, updating website contents, design and updates on web pages, support internal collaboration sites like SharePoint, and office365 email platforms, etc.

Social Media: We have our presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Our social media team takes care of posting messages weekly to our subscribers and engage with the community and to reach new potential members.

It is an honor to serve with passionate and dedicated volunteers and I would like to recognize my team: Manosh Majumdar serving as Director of Technology, Patty Dennis serving as Director of Communications, and Daniel Tyson serving as Social Media Manager. Our team leads are Shere McClamb, Derrick Williams, Thumbesh Halnu, Seema Bisht, Drew Hollander, Mike Aycock, and Dan Grigg.

If you have any suggestions to improve our existing technology or communications, please feel free to reach out to me at This email address is being protected from spambots.
