All around you may hear, “Oh no, it’s December. Where did this year go?” In fact, you may have said it yourself. There is less than a month to go in 2019 and this time of year can feel overly full of the demands of family, work and any other traditions this time of year holds.
I too have made that statement. As I reflect on 2019, I can say it has been a wonderful year for me for lots of reasons. One of the greatest joys I have had this year was the privilege of serving as the President of this wonderful chapter. I want to say THANK YOU for a fantastic year as I have gotten to meet so many of you and work alongside you. It is my hope that the holidays and the coming year will be filled with unlimited possibilities for the chapter and for each one of you.
So put those project management skills to work. Plan ahead, assess your resources, identify your goals, break down what needs to happen into reasonable, manageable pieces and routinely check in with your team (not just colleagues but family and friends as well) to maintain a cohesive unit. I hope you have a stress-free and meaningful close of the year as possible and emerge ready and excited to take on the New Year!
