NCPMI Proposed Bylaw changes 2021

NCPMI Proposed Bylaw changes 2021

NCPMI Members,

The board has drafted a revision to our bylaws, posted here for your review. Voting for these bylaws is now open, and will be open through August 30th. In order to pass, we need at least 10% of our members to vote, with 2/3 of respondents voting affirmative. Please take the time to review and vote, as what is in here impacts you as our members.

The two most notable changes are the addition of the VP of marketing position and removing the requirement to hold a director position before being eligible to run for VP.

The VP of marketing will be an important role to help grow our chapter.

The relaxing of the rules to run for the board is to allow for a more robust candidate pool, bringing in new talent to work alongside our established board members.

These are the most significant changes, but there are other smaller changes as well. If you have any questions or comments, please email me directly.

I wanted to clarify that the current by laws are always available to you on our webiste. If you want to compare the current bylaws to the propsoed bylaws, you can review the current bylaws here: NCPMI Current Bylaws

The call to action is to review the proposed bylaws in the entirety, and vote on the entire proposed body of work.
