Michelle Rouse is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and a certified ScrumMaster(CSM) with over ten years of technical project management experience in the IT, metering and healthcare industries. She currently works as a Senior Consultant at StoneLaurel Consulting, where her latest role is a Senior Enterprise Project Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina (BCBSNC), working on IT projects in the behavioral health and Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (DSNP) space. Her experience includes hardware development, management and quality management.
Michelle has been a member of NCPMI since 2014. She has served as NCPMI Director of Careers and Director of Communities of Practice Relationships. Michelle is passionate about growing and sharing with her PMI and NCPMI colleagues as she has attended regional and PMI leadership conferences. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from South Carolina State University (SCSU), and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt).
When not working, Michelle enjoys real estate, the theatre, traveling, concerts, reading and spending quality time with family and friends. So, the COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenge for her, however, her resilience keeps her optimistic.
