Please join me in recognizing Dan Grigg as April’s volunteer spotlight winner.
Patty Dennis-Jones nominated Dan for his role on the Communications Team for collaborating and publishing the monthly chapter newsletter. He has done a wonderful job gathering information and feedback from chapter leaders and members and has come up with a process of communicating with the board that is transparent. Dan is willing to do what it takes to get an accurate newsletter out to the chapter on time. He has been a great addition to the communications team.
Dan moved to North Carolina from Anchorage, Alaska in 2006. He was in the US Air Force for 6 years where he loaded weapons on F-15 Aircraft and then worked as a contracting officer. He has managed IT Infrastructure projects since 2002.
Dan currently works for NC State University as a project manager in the Security and Compliance Unit. He graduated from NC State in 2014 with a Leadership in Public Sector degree. He joined NCPMI in December of 2017 and obtained his PMP in January of 2018.
Dan lives in Wake Forest with his family. He loves to be on the lake with them. Usually on Falls Lake, but also taking trips to Kerr Lake. He also enjoys doing construction projects around his home.
Thank you, Dan, for your contribution to NCPMI and efforts to improve communication to our members.
