When you join, PMI will ask to assign you to a Community of Practice  according to your PM interest or occupation.

NC PMI members are proudly represented in nearly every Community of Practice, including Information Systems, Global Communications Technologies, and Pharmaceuticals, three of the largest industries in Research Triangle Park and Eastern North Carolina.

CoP members keep in contact via e-mail, local events, our own member forums. PMI's Communities of Practice will gather this year at the annual National PMI Symposium.
