This course is taught in modules. Two to three modules are taught each Saturday for five Saturdays. This course will provide the 35 education credits needed for your PMP application. The ten modules in the class cover the 10 Knowledge areas and 5 Process groups that form the basis of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Sixth edition

NOTE: This PMP Exam Prep Class is taught to the PMBOK, Sixth Edition.
Day 1 - Introduction and Integration
Day 2 – Scope and Time
Day 3 – Cost and Resource Management
Day 4 – Risk, Quality and Professional and Social Responsibilities
Day 5 – Procurement, Stakeholder Management and Communications
The PMP Exam Prep Course is for Project Managers who are preparing to take the PMP Certification Exam. This class teaches you “what” you need to know to pass the examination. This course does not teach the application of Project Management Tools and Techniques and it is not a substitute for a Project Management Fundamentals Course. This class is not meant for individuals who already have their PMP and are looking to get PDUs. This class is exclusively meant for those who are trying to become PMP certified.
The PMP Exam Prep Course is taught by certified PMPs from the NCPMI Chapter as a service to our membership. Class size is limited to a maximum of 25 students, with registrations accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
GENERAL INFORMATION: The goals of the PMP Exam Prep Class are to help participants:
• Start the certification process
• Organize their study around the key processes and knowledge areas
• Understand what material is relevant for the PMP exam
• Prepare for the PMP certification exam
QUALIFICATIONS:
In order to qualify to take the PMP examination, you must meet minimum experience requirements as determined by PMI. For qualification details, please check the PMI website.
It is not a requirement to have submitted your application before taking this class.
