Increase Your Versatility, the PMI-ACP Certification Prep Class, the Agile Class that Teaches Agile
The PMI-ACP course focuses on embracing and applying the Agile Manifesto — not a method, framework, or toolkit. You will, though, learn about Scrum, Kanban, eXtreme Programming, lean thinking, and other approaches.
The PMI-ACP global certification supports individuals in meeting the needs of organizations that rely on project practitioners to apply a diversity of methods to their project management — from predictive to hybrid to agile.
NOTE: This class will cover the 21 credit hours which is one of the key requirements for taking the PMI-ACP certification. In addition, students who have their PMP will gain 21 PDUs towards their PMP renewal.
QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify to take the PMI-ACP examination, you must meet minimum experience requirements as determined by PMI.
For qualification details, please check the PMI website at https://www.pmi.org/certifications/types/agile-acp.
One requirement is 1,500 hours (8 months) working on agile project teams or with agile methodologies within the previous 3 years. Important Note: You may meet this requirement and not know it.
To help you interpret this requirement or others, please contact David Gentry, PMI-ACP instructor, 205-639-6588,
