Meet the Professional Development Team
Every year we set the bar higher for what we expect to offer our membership. This year is no different. Our 2020 Directors have already started planning for the chapter’s annual conference. Plans are underway for new workshops and webinar sessions to help you maintain your PMI credentials and remain relevant in your profession. 2020 Annual Conference Co-Directors:
Lalethia Bethea is a Client Manager at Allscripts. Previously, she worked as a project manager at IBM supporting a large health insurance company. She obtained her PMP in 2000 and holds an MBA from Pfeiffer University. She has served on the annual conference team for many years in various capacities, from being a day of volunteer and more recently as the chair of the Speaker team in 2018 as well as having responsibilities for 2019 conference Swag and Gifts. Durham has been her home since 1991. Lalethia’s favorite part of any meal is dessert, and she loves reading and visiting with family and friends. Contact:
Daniel Tyson is currently a High-Touch Operations Manager for Cisco Systems through Randstad Technologies and has been in several roles within Cisco since 2014. Daniel obtained his PMP in 2015 and MBA from Meredith College in 2012. He served in a leadership role as the 2017 and 2018 Sponsorship chair for the NCPMI Annual Conference and currently does the social media updates for the chapter. He is originally from Boston Massachusetts and has lived in North Carolina since 1983 and in Raleigh since 2003. His wife and he love to travel, work on projects in the house, and enjoy good food. Together, Lalethia and Daniel will lead a core team of volunteers in planning the conference. The following chapter volunteers have been selected to lead in key areas of planning. Each lead/chair will have supporting volunteers. The first core team planning meeting is February 18th. As the team grows, they will update the roster to acknowledge the newest volunteers joining the team.

2020 Director of Professional Development
Natasha Hawkins is a Project/Program Manager in the PMO at Blue Cross of NC. She is currently serving in a leadership role as the 2020 Director of Professional Development. Natasha has been a member of NCPMI since 2018. She is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). She holds dual bachelor’s degrees from NC Wesleyan College. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Contact:
