Agile CoP: Product Assumptions Testing: From Concept to Confidence
(Zoom meeting info below.)
Abstract: Your assumptions can make or break a project. This session delves into the art and science of identifying and testing product assumptions to ensure feasibility, viability, desirability, and usability. Using a real-world value proposition example, we'll define and create a low-fidelity test that will address high-risk assumptions early in the process. By the end of this session, attendees will have a robust framework for reducing uncertainty and maximizing the success of their product initiatives.
Learning Objectives:
* Understand Key Assumptions: Learn to distinguish between feasibility, viability, desirability, and usability assumptions in product development.
* Analyze a Value Proposition: Gain insights into evaluating a value proposition through a practical example.
* Identify High-Risk Assumptions: Discover techniques for pinpointing the assumptions that pose the greatest risk to your product's success.
* Design Low-Fidelity Tests: Master the craft of designing and implementing low-cost, high-impact tests to validate critical assumptions early.
* Reduce Product Development Uncertainty: Apply a structured approach to systematically reduce risks and increase confidence in product decisions.
* Enhancing Project Outcomes: Leverage assumption testing to improve project planning, execution, and overall outcomes.Presenter:Catherine Louis is a Certified Scrum Trainer®, independent Agile coach, founder of CLL-Group.com, leader of AgileRTP and co-founder of PoDojo.com.
