This is a NCPMI Communication & Public Speaking CoP- NCPL Toastmasters Club Meeting.
The Meeting includes networking, inspirational thoughts, prepared speeches, table topics, evaluations, with multiple meeting operations roles.

Title: 9 Boxes of Life: Discovering Your Life and Work
Abstract:
Wondering where our work life and personal life start and end? Is there such a thing as work life balance? With access to technology in this 24/7 world, and the lines blurring between work life and personal life, how do we create a life that is optimal to bring out our best? This will be an uplifting conversation in identifying what brings us joy, brings out our best, and how having 9 full boxes in our lives make a positive impact on both our work life and personal life.

About the Speaker:
Meg has more than 20 years of experience in providing career coaching and programming for traditional undergraduate and graduate students, as well as returning adult students, and alumni in transition. Additionally, Meg enjoys all opportunities to coach and mentor new and experienced career services professionals. Currently, Meg is Director of Alumni Career Services, and Sector Director for Healthcare at Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business. Meg coaches across the degree programs at Fuqua including the MBA, Specialty Masters programs, which are in person, global, and online. Additionally Meg is an Academic Advisor to undergraduate Duke first and second year students.
Flournoy developed coaching skills through positions working with undergraduate liberal arts students, engineering students, community college students, and part time graduate school students. She has also worked with divisions of companies on the topics of staff development, self-assessment, and team building.
Flournoy holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from Lehigh University, and a bachelor's degree in political science from Susquehanna University. Meg is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) and a mindfulness instructor with The Center for KORU Mindfulness. She is a past president of the Susquehanna University Alumni Association, and involved philanthropically in her home community.
