Communications and Public Speaking CoP: Becoming a Shift Thinker

Abstract

Communications and Public Speaking CoP is a part of NC Project Leaders Toastmasters.  It is the perfect club where project management, leadership and public speaking skills are featured in a fun, safe, supportive environment. Whether you need to improve your weekly team meetings, refine a presentation to peers, or add humor to your speeches, see how the Toastmasters can help you achieve your goals! 

The meeting is held online on the 2^nd and 4^th Tuesdays of each month via Zoom. Members practice their speaking skills; guest are encouraged to participate, and a Keynote speaker is featured at each meeting.

Earn 1.25 Professional Development Units (DPDs) per meeting.

The Keynote for this meeting is Dr. Kevin Synder

Kevin has presented over 1,150 keynotes and leadership training workshops in all 50 states and several countries. Audiences range from high school to human resources, from college to corporate and all in between. Kevin is the author of several books, his first and best-selling book titled, “Think Differently to Achieve Success!” He also wrote How to Become a Professional Speaker,” “Empower Your Employees,” “Success Leaves Clues” and a few others.
