Elmer T. Hill, DTM (Distingushed Toast Master)

A Toastmaster since 2013, Elmer is a member of four clubs, including his home club, NC Project Leaders in Morrisville, North Carolina.

He has held key district leadership positions within Toastmasters and has been recognized for Excellence in Club Growth and Excellence in Program Quality. In addition to being recognized in 2016 as District Toastmaster of the year, he has attained the Distinguished Toastmaster designation in 2016 and again in 2018—the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters.

As a member of the Toastmasters International Board of Directors, Elmer is a “working ambassador” for the organization. He works with the Board to develop, support, and modify the policies and procedures that guide Toastmasters International in fulfilling its mission.

As a business owner, his company provides consulting and technology services to business in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds certification in Cybersecurity, video conferencing systems and networking.

When Elmer is not working or serving, he loves to travel to learn and experience other cultures. Along with his wife Sharon, who also is a Toastmaster, he has visited more than 25 countries.
