This is a NCPMI Communication & Public Speaking CoP- NCPL Toastmasters Club Meeting. The Meeting includes prepared speech, table topics, networking, evaluations, jokes and multiple meeting operations roles.

Abstract:
How can you most effectively develop, refine and pursue the goals that support the holistic vision for your life at work and home? A structured approach can be applied to drive your understanding and execution of critical elements requisite for your happiness and success. If you create your own definition of ‘bliss’, you can subsequently move forward in a systemic way to make it a reality. A handout will be provided to support the learning process.
Learning Objectives:
During this interactive session, participants will learn:
- How to use 2 research-based tools to examine and understand your innate strengths
- What must be done in order to be productive on a regular basis
- How to apply techniques rooted in the science of positive psychology to stay inspired
- Why the creation of a personal mission statement is critical
About the Speaker:
La Tondra Murray is a career and life strategist with a background in information technology, business and academia. She has coached hundreds of individuals in the areas of talent assessment, work-life integration and emerging leadership. She is a credentialed coach as well as a certified Gallup Strengths practitioner, well versed in the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment. La Tondra has ~20 years of leadership experience in large-scale technology-based corporate and higher education environments. She additionally holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering as well as undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

- Space is limited if you register and cannot attend, please update the Chairperson in order that your space can be allocated to members on the standby list. -
