Higher Education CoP - The Value of PMP Certifications
Abstract:
Have you ever considered obtaining your Project Management Professional (PMP) certification? Do you know the qualifications for the exam? What is the application process like? Christine Purchell, PMP, CPLP from Duke Clinical Research Institute will be holding a lunchtime webinar to go over what you need to know about obtaining your PMP certification. From the qualifications need to apply, the application process, studying for the test, testing environment and more…it will all be discussed. About the Speaker:
Christine Purchell is a training and development professional with over 10 years of experience in adult learning; instructional design; project management; and instructor-led and web-based training development. In 2016, she was named as one of the top 25 Emerging Training Leaders by Training Magazine. As a Senior Learning Consultant at the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI), she focuses on the project management curriculum training, including introductory project management skills, technical software (Microsoft Project) training, and PMP certification training. Prior to the DCRI, Christine was a project manager for the training department at Publix Supermarkets, Inc. Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida. She is a certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) as well as a certified PMP.
