Abstract:

How to deal with “those” people? You know, the types of people who seem to only think about or respect themselves and their agenda with little regard to us. They are busy people who pride themselves in getting a lot done. What else could we get accomplished? What new levels could we reach if working with them was smoother? Someone once told me dealing with them is like working against sandpaper. “Sandpaper people”…Truth is they aren’t going away, and neither are the things we need to communicate and accomplish. So how do we bridge the gap?

About the Speaker: Josh Bledsoe, Training Instructor and Coach, Dale Carnegie

Josh is a Dale Carnegie Training Instructor and Coach in Raleigh, NC. He gets to bring the skills development training of the Dale Carnegie Programs to life for professionals looking to take command of their careers in the military and/or their civilian careers across all industries in North Carolina.

With today’s fast-paced working environments and requirements to do more, faster, with less time and fewer resources coupled without the authority of a title, we have some major challenges to overcome. Josh has experienced and helps others develop the real practical skills to overcome those challenges to work in their benefit using Dale Carnegie Training methodologies.

He’s also a military officer formerly active duty and now in the NC Air National Guard with over 10 years of leadership, operations, training, and development experience in multiple places in the U.S., and overseas. The military brought Josh, his wife Niki, their son Asher, and daughter Piper to the state they now call home, North Carolina.
