Leadership: Q2 Speaker - Team Building
This is a talk about the tremendous importance of Team Building, especially with Distributed Teams. Most of us work with Distributed Teams. What is a Team versus just a Group of People Working Together? There is a big difference! We will talk about the many different types of Communication (Face to face, webcam, phone, instant message, text, email, etc), Communication Styles, Building Rapport with Teams (across time zones, cultures, and full time employees (FTE) vs contract employees), and how to get people to be active versus passive Team Members. We will discuss many different tactics to use as well as some team building games that one can easily employ with Distributed Teams. This will be an interactive session, so the participants will be able to ask questions as well as participate in some Team Building activities.
