NCPMI First Online Training
Introduction to SAFe
A Webinar Presented by David J. Gentry, SA, CSM, CSPO, PMP
Webinar session: July 16, 2018 @ 12:00 PM EDT.
Abstract
This webinar will describe basic Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) terminology (including when it varies from that of Scrum) and an overview of SAFe structure, values, principles, roles, and key events.
This webinar is not a course in SAFe. It is not intended to answer all questions an audience might have. However, one of the goals of the webinar is to stimulate questions about SAFe. Some of these questions will be answered during the webinar. Due to the one-hour length of the webinar, many questions will not be answered and yet every member of the audience will be asked to keep a list of questions that occur to them so that audience members may research the answers after the webinar or take a full course in SAFe.
Learning Objectives
* Stimulate questions about SAFe and prepare a list of them.
* Gain knowledge of an overview of SAFe.
* Acquire a basic appreciation of the power of SAFe in an Agile transformation environment.
* Encourage a desire to learn more about SAFe.
