Abstract:

The ability to set boundaries is one of the most important skills to master for both personal and professional growth. One of the most important aspects of a good boundary is the ability to say “No” to the people, activities and engagements that do not advance us personally or professionally. When you say “No” to the things that don’t help you, you are, in effect, saying “Yes” to the things that will. This interactive seminar will help you learn when and how to say “No” with grace and professionalism.

Learning Objectives:

• Learn techniques so that when you need to say “No,” you will be able to say it while preserving personal and professional relationships.
• Learn to give yourself the freedom to say “Yes” to activities that will help you grow and that will add value to your personal brand and reputation

Speaker’s Bio:  Dr. Holly Sullenger

About the Speaker: 

A corporate speaker, trainer and consultant, Dr. Sullenger has worked in the world of continuing professional corporate education her entire professional career. She provides education events in the areas of leadership, professional development and technology and designs business systems for organizations. To date, she has designed curriculum for, and delivered, over 80 technology courses and over 250 leadership/professional development courses.

Dr. Sullenger earned degrees in Adult Education, Business Administration, Computer Science, and Liberal Arts which has provided her with a diverse knowledge base.
