I am Kaali Dass, VP of Technology and Communications, writing on behalf of the President and board of directors.
For the last 30+ years, NCPMI has grown from running meetings in a small conference room to conducting major conferences in NC. We have about 3200 active members, and our membership is growing strong every year. In the world of digitization, technology enables key business and operational capabilities of NCPMI.
Our team is divided into four functional areas – Technology, Communications, Support, and Projects.
Technology team is responsible for supporting web portal platforms, publishing web contents, setting up events, online and on-site registration, Technologies to support badge-print and Mobile check-in. In addition, we extract and transform data to process PDUs, and providing analytics needs of our board.
Communications team is responsible for email communications to 7500+ subsc
ribers and managing social media. Last two years we have standardized and improved our social media communications, interactions, and engagement with our member community. Our Social Media is a great platform for our members to exchange ideas beyond just web and email and also connect and share ideas with our members.
Support team is responsible for managing support requests and working with various leads to process different types of requests, issues, and incidents from our members, volunteers, and external clients.
Projects team is responsible for taking up new initiatives work collaboratively with various stakeholders to execute projects to meet the defined project goals and objectives.
Our recent accomplishments:
- Migrated and upgraded web platform to scale and support our growing needs of membership and volunteers
- Migrated internal email systems to a secured Microsoft Office platform
- Migrated Document storage to a secured and collaborative Microsoft SharePoint platform
- Implemented state-of-the-art Mobile Check-in system to improve operational excellence
