Asila Calhoun’s coaching business focuses on partnering with new, mid-level, and executive leaders who are ready for change. Asila facilitates this change during one-on-one and group coaching sessions with her clients and through her consulting services of delivering leadership training, team retreat facilitation, and diversity, equity and inclusion coaching, consulting and training. Asila works with her clients to develop a customized approach for their unique situation. 

 

Asila earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UC Berkeley, and she holds PHR and SHRM-CP Human Resources certifications. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and a Certified Inclusion Coach (CIC). Asila is an Adjunct Faculty member at UNC School of Government’s Center for Public Leadership and Governance. She is certified in several assessments. Asila is also a davidji Certified Masters of Wisdom & Meditation teacher. 

 

Asila is committed to allyship in action. She serves on the national Board of the Autism Society, and she is also an Advisory Board member of birdSEED Foundation, which provides down payment grants to first-time Black and Brown homeowners in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia.
