Abstract:

Web 3.0 (Web3) is the third generation of the internet and democratic in nature. It is still in its nascent stages. Web3 is decentralized and is based on blockchain technology. It gives users full control of their data. Web3 is here to enable people to have more control over their data, creating a decentralized version of the internet. It is also set to be more user-specific, empowering content creators. Many tech companies and startups are adopting it and the momentum is building. It is yet to be seen if web3 will be the new norm. But the promises and potential it holds will make an impact. Web 3.0 will lead to the rise of fundamentally new markets and associated business models.
