Becky Sansbury, M.Div., has spent her career guiding people through tough times. After fourteen years as a hospice chaplain, Becky worked with people in career and family crisis. She identified seven common traits among people who flourish when life is difficult, regardless of the exact circumstances.

Becky’s personal journey has led her through marriages, miscarriages, a young husband’s stroke, single parenthood, and family reconciliation. While her life has included some bumpy paths, Becky feels blessed by faith, family, and a caring community that helped to smooth the way.

Combining personal experiences and professional training, Becky developed a resilience-building model for people in crisis and those helping them. She wrote After the Shock: Getting You Back On The Road To Resilience When Crisis Hits You Head On to provide stories, tools, and down-to-earth ways to move through difficulty.

Whether keynoting at a conference or coaching professionals in crisis, Becky delivers practical ways to move from good intentions to effective action when your world is rocked by shock.
