Higher Education CoP: January 2021 - All Signs Point to Communication
Abstract:
How do you get work done with and by others? It’s a question that has always been asked. Now that the world has seen a global pandemic and much of the workforce has had to switch to remote location, this question seems to be coming up more and more. As Project Managers, we study the process and we learn how to handle all the plans, tools, and logistics. However, how do we motivate and get the work done.
Learning Objectives:
Christine Purchell, PMP, CPTD from UNC Health will discuss:
- Learn why improving your communication skills will increase successful completion of your projects.
- Analyze how communication can be used more effectively with change buy-in.
- Discuss how communication can improve the work outputs for remote teams.
