Abstract:
Visioning is a technique that allows the user to determine and visualize their ultimate goals. This technique applies to for personal relationships, career goals, educational pursuits, or for any individual project. The visioning technique and other tips can help inspire and unify teams on projects. For projects and project managers, using visioning to determine what success looks like, helps to jumpstart the project and build the pathway to success. It can help unite a team and bring positivity to the problem or task at hand and support project success. Join Dr. Davis as she guides us through visioning and strategies to support unifying teams for project managers.

About the Speaker: Lisa P. Davis, PhD, MSPH
Dr. Lisa P. Davis serves as Director of Special Projects at the Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute. She is a health behaviorist and received a PhD in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MSPH from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Davis has extensive community-based public health and research expertise in diabetes, pediatric obesity, minority health, qualitative methods, and training design and facilitation. Dr. Davis has received several awards and honors for her work. Dr. Davis also directs the Duke CTSI Training Academy which provides educational and professional development trainings and resources for staff. Internationally, Dr. Davis serves as Secretariat for the Lancet Commission on Hearing Loss.
