Abstract:

Understand metrics used from a software development perspective. Described as advanced concepts typically not discussed in standard certification courses, though people unfamiliar with the metrics usually catch on quickly and find them interesting and applicable.

Ryan LaMay has a decade of experience in software development. Currently works at Brightly Software, a Siemens Company, where he lead the coaching efforts for the product development teams and work closely with them to understand agile goals, what it means to the business and their careers, and ultimately drive the adoption of agile. He is also responsible for all the product development analytics. 

While he has had the privilege of working for Fortune-listed companies, I have found my passion for agile during my time working with startups. As a consultant, I have helped numerous startups adopt the agile practice and optimize their product development processes. He has also played a founding role in several successful startups, including the International Functional Fitness Federation and ThreatSwitch (now known as Sign in Compliance,), as well as his own ventures, including Keshigomi, an on-demand household trash collection service that competes with traditional trash services like GFL.

His experience in entrepreneurship and business-venture has helped develop a unique perspective on how to drive agile product development and innovation for the benefit of the business and its employees. As such, he's always excited to work with new individuals or teams to help them succeed with their business or career.
