Agile CoP: Communicating for Change in Non-software Agile Teams

Agile CoP: Communicating for Change in Non-software Agile Teams

Agile CoP: Communicating for Change in Non-software Agile Teams

(Zoom meeting info below.)

Abstract:

We’ll discuss the importance of educating on how to change, how these teams worked together, how they interacted with stakeholders, and how to determine what should not change.

Learning Objectives:

  • Focus on the “why” over the “how”
  • Don’t assume the client really knows what they need. Help them discover it.
  • How a focus on cadence over time boxes helps non-software teams move forward
  • Importance of whole team feedback and transparency over individual feedback
  • There is no one right way to work together. Learn to learn and respond.
  • Change has a price. Is what we introduce worth the cost of change?
