Abstract

Participants will have the opportunity to explore the meaning of Servant Leadership and the principles and characteristics of the Servant Leader.  Likewise, project managers will explore personal and professional notions of having a servant leader's mindset and skillsets within today's work environments.

Speaker: Katrina Damon, DM, PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma, CSM, CSPO

Katrina Damon is a connector, collaborator and servant leader who enjoys reading, traveling, spending quality time with family and serving in the community. As a seasoned professional, entrepreneur, speaker, coach and mentor, she has been a versatile individual who aligns values, servant leadership principles and work ethics to provide leadership, services and support for varied sectors, such as higher education, corporate, government and community organizations. Currently, Katrina is serving as managing Partner of the Business of Life Coaching and Consulting, LLC, Board Chair of the BK Damon Foundation, Inc. and Business Operations Manager and Agile Epic Owner at Cisco Systems, Inc.

Katrina is a graduate of Jackson State University where she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. Additionally, she continued her commitment to lifelong learning by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and a Doctor of Management Degree in Organizational Leadership. Katrina is married to Barron Damon and has two beautiful children, Mariah Monet and Joshua Austin. The Damon’s reside in the Research Triangle Park near Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and attends King’s Park International Church, Durham, North Carolina
