 Abstract:  

Mentoring is a critical component to the success of any organization. Working with a mentor can build confidence, enhance performance, improve communication and leadership skills, clarify goals, and expand networks.  In this presentation, the speaker will illustrate the transformative power of mentoring using examples from his experiences in Project Management and Toastmasters.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:  

  1. Define what it means to be a Mentor Leader.
  2. Understand how mentoring can transform your life and the lives of others.
  3. Discover the secrets of building people and teams that win consistently
  4. Develop a Mentoring mind-set at PMI and Toastmasters
  5. Connect with your ideal Mentor

About the Speaker:

Gregg is the founder of Parrspectives, a strengths-based coaching practice located in the Sandhills region of North Carolina.  As a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, Gregg helps his clients to discover, invest, and apply their greatest talents and strengths.  

Prior to forming Parrspectives, Gregg spent 27 years with IBM, most recently as a Global Sales Operations Manager for IBM's Software Group. During his career, he held positions in Administration, Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Sales Operations. 

Gregg attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH.

Gregg is a member of Toastmasters International, the Project Management Institute (NCPMI Chapter), and the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA).

  1. This meeting is free for NCPMI & North Carolina Project Leaders Toastmasters (NCPL) members

  4. PDUs will be reported by NCPMI
  5. PMPs are required to provide their PMI numbers in order that their PDUs can be reported
  6. Please arrive on time in order that the meeting can start promptly
  7. Please leave the facility in equal or better condition than you found it
  8. The meeting will take place at Cisco in Building 12, 7200 Kit Creek Rd, Morrisville, NC.  Click on Location for directions.  When you arrive, PLEASE LOOK FOR THE NCPMI & North Carolina Project Leaders Toastmasters signs.
