The healthcare industry is ever changing in today’s world. The demand for new ideas and ability to execute with speed to market is critical. Many of the projects we manage require diverse teams to solve problems with creative solutions to respond to our changing market.

It is becoming more evident that young professionals are valuable members to our projects and businesses. Millennials already are the largest segment in the workplace according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Plus, many of our businesses have customers that are in this market segment, increasing the importance of how we engage with this generation.

About the Speaker


Chisse Cheung is a Senior Project Manager at Blue Cross NC and a frequent representative at the NCPMI conference. For the past 12 years, Chisse has managed a variety of projects in the PMO and led CEO requested initiatives. She started as a summer intern and gained experience on projects spanning from technical claims systems integration, software upgrades, regulatory mandates, vendor managed services and change management process improvements. She now uses her education in Sales and Marketing and a Masters of Healthcare Administration to drive value and improve member experience in healthcare.

Chisse is also known as the Founder of the first Young Professionals Employee Network at Blue Cross NC. The network recently celebrated its ten-year anniversary promoting diversity in the workplace. Outside of her day job, Chisse spends time with her family and 10-month-old baby boy in Cary, NC. They especially love the local parks and trails.
