PMO CoP June 2020-Conduct Productive Meetings While Working Remotely

Abstract

Managing a meeting tends to be a skill often overlooked by leaders and managers. A meeting can be an efficient and powerful way to make decisions, disseminate information, build relationships or otherwise get things done, but only when it is productive. In this session, Darlena will discuss how to conduct productive meetings, while engaging participants in activities aimed at reinforcing learned skills. This presentation uses a framework provided by Toastmasters International—among the premier public speaking and professional development organizations in the world. It approaches meeting productivity in the context of working remotely.
