Social Good & Networking Event: Habitat for Humanity ReStore
Habitat for Humanity ReStores' Mission: Habitat ReStores help fund Habitat for Humanity’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Profits from Habitat ReStores are put to use both in your local community and around the world. When gently used building materials or household products are donated to Habitat ReStore and then sold at a discount to a community member who needs it, those items are recycled and kept out of the landfill.
We are excited to provide support to the Habitat for Humanity Brier Creek ReStore. We welcome non-members over 18 to join NCPMI members during this opportunity to network while serving. All volunteers need their own registration.
In addition to registering with NCPMI, all volunteers must create an account with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, register for the "Brier Creek ReStore Group PM" shift, and sign a waiver via the following link:https://habitatwake.volunteerhub.com/vv2/lp/ncpmi
Please note the following guidelines for volunteers with the Brier Creek Restore:
Dress Code
Long pants are recommended but shorts are acceptable. Shorts should be mid-thigh or longer. NO leggings.
Tank tops, clothing with rips, holes, or inappropriate slogans or images are not permitted.
Sneakers or work boots – NO sandals, Crocs, canvas shoes or any open toed or exposed heel footwear
Please keep in mind that your clothing may become dirty while working at the ReStore.
Registration
Everyone must register and sign the waiver(s) prior to volunteering using the link provided to the person in the group who served as liaison to Habitat for Humanity of Wake County.
All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older unless otherwise discussed with the ReStore Volunteer Manager and minors have been approved to volunteer.
